If you see a beautiful girl under a palm tree with a bottle of Fiji water, and she's smiling and looks like a virgin,
And you were told this girl were not innocent by all her friends, how come she doesn't look guilty? What makes some girls look innocent?
Why do some girls look so much more innocent than their friends say they are?
Alot of times their friends will tell them negative things about them because jealousy and other things or simply because they don't want you approaching the person they tell you things about. I've had friends tell guys I'm all these different things because they didn't want me having him because they wanted him, sad but true. But in some cases, there are some people who aren't innocent at all but look it, even so, it's not the friends job to run you off.
Reply:First of all what does a virgin look like? (from the outside?) a virgin and a non-virgin look exactly the same. we cannot see what's on the inside (no pun intended)
Second- please dont believe everything u hear!
Reply:I never trust what the friends of a girl says.

Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizer?
I got a sample of it from a magazine and it was amazing, it leaves your skin softer than anything i've ever put on my skin.
So I went to Debenhams and found out it was £50 for a small bottle about the height of my palm. :(
Does anyone know of anything cheaper, a lot cheaper, which is just the same and works just aswell?
Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizer?
Try "Pore Minimizing Serum" by Clarins £18.50. I haven't tried it myself but I'm told its good. Also moisturisers which contain salicylic acid and retinol are brilliant exfoliaters that clean deep into your pores making your skin feel more youthfull. Why not try out Garnier Pure A £4 ish, or Picture Porefect Pore Minimizing Solution by DemaDoctor at Selfridges £28.
Hope this helps!
Reply:DId it really make your pores smaller let me know

How many liberal heads will explode over this one?
WEST PALM BEACH -- Rush Limbaugh will not face criminal charges in Palm Beach County after authorities found he had a bottle of Viagra that was apparently prescribed to in his doctor's name
the article further states the following :
It is generally not illegal under Florida law for a physician to prescribe medication in a third party's name if all parties are aware and the doctor documents it correctly, said Mike Edmondson, a spokesman for the Palm Beach County state attorney.
How many liberal heads will explode over this one?
As a Conservative, it never phased me about the Viagra. I assumed as was the real story that he had it put in someone elses name to avoid the Liberal media from harassing him about having an "ED" type medication.
I do find it amusing that he needed to have medication to get it up, since he seemed like he always had it up... hahahah
For the one who downs him about the Oxycontin has never had to be on it. It is a very addictive. It usually is not because it is something he chose, it happens to everyone who has to take it for a long time. The doctors who supplied this should have been a lot more responsible in changing this prescription. Instead he became a victim of a drug. Very normal, yet no compassion from the Liberals.
Reply:Would have otherwise given it a thumbs up, but the liberal media myth is so overplayed, so had to give it a thumbs down.
That said, if Rush had previously shown any sympaty for drug addicts, maybe he would have received some in return, so thus...
Thumbs down. Report It
Reply:Compassion? Why show compassion? Like the Reich Wing shows compassion to anyone lacking blue-blood and a Confederate flag?
Doesn't suprise me you picked THIS answer. Just retards associating with retards. Enjoy your stupidity. Ciao. Report It
Reply:This is correct. The issue is the prescription being in another name. Also he's single and supposed to be a part of the "morality party," so what is he doing in a foreign country with Viagra? Premarital sex is immoral. And he didn't show compassion to drug addicts before, so why show him compassion? Report It
Reply:Who cares. We can still laugh at him and call him Mr. Softy and Limp-bau and that crazy right-wing nut who can't get it up. HAHAHAHAHAH!!! Lets all point and laugh at him!
Reply:Looks like Jim was stumped (that's not a hard feat) You notice that no one is talking about it any more. I think that Dr. Feelgood owes some one an apology.
Reply:How many people that answered this question actually listen to Rush? He is not a preacher, yes he is all for religon, but that is far from the major topic of his program.
If, and thats a big if, he went down there and used the one pill that was actually missing (prescription was for 30 pills, 29 found at customs check), so what? Its legal there, he did nothing wrong.
I suggest some of you take 3 - 4 weeks and actually listen to his show. You might, God forbid, learn something.
Reply:No head exploding here.
I didn't think he would actually face charges for this one.
It does however call his intelligence into question. If he knows he's under a very watchful eye, why would he even allow this to be a risk?
When you're on probation, you have got to be careful. That was just stupid.

What is the strangest thing your child wants you to do to entertain them?
my daughter always wants me to kiss the palm of her hand while shes drinking her bottle
What is the strangest thing your child wants you to do to entertain them?
My youngest used to love it if you bowed your head on/near her tummy when she was sitting in her bouncy chair, she could have only been about 3/4 months old, but used to laugh her little head off, you could keep doing it all day because her little laugh was so delightful.
Reply:Put his "babies" (stuffed toys) on my neck and pretend to give them rides like I do to him.
Reply:I used to have to caress my niece's head until she fell asleep. That stopped before she reached the age of one, thankfully. Since then, I've given her a twin sized brown mink blanket and she CANNOT sleep without it! On a recent trip to SE Asia (where the temperature can go over 100 degrees) she insisted on taking it with her and used it as a pillow every night she was there.
I'm expecting my own son in June, so I can't comment about any strange things I have to do for him yet...
I think it's cute that you kiss your daughter's palm. She must be so comforted by your presence.

So now he gives himself a head rub and laughs in hysterics once his teeth get chattering.

Have you guys ever been in a food fight?
Man, that was a first! I remember one time when my friends and I--six of us--were at our usual table at the caffeteria. I couldn't squeeze the mustard bottle, so I gave it to one of my best friends, for him to help me. He hit the bottom of the bottle with his palm, so strong, that the contents came flying in the school bully's face! Hah! He grabbed a ketchup bottle, and did the same thing! My best friend ducked, and the ketchup hit his girlfriend! She's like, "My dress!" She turns to him and smacks his face with cheesecake, and then turns to the bullies and says, "And this..... This..... is.... for you!" She threw a banana cream pie at them, and someone shouted, "Food fight!"
Have you guys ever been in a food fight?
Yes

Bubbles in my veins of left wrist, dangerous or okay?
I was in the shower and I closed the cap of my shampoo bottle by pressing it against the padded area of my left palm. I immediately noticed a bubble pop up when I pressed. I tested it a few more times and each time I pressed that padded area, two bubbles popped up, appearing on what I think is a vein. I tryed this on my right hand and had no results.
I am wondering if anyone knows what this is, if anything, or what caused it.
Bubbles in my veins of left wrist, dangerous or okay?
There's no air in your veins.
It may be that there is a valve in the vein (we all have valves in the veins to prevent blood flowing backward) that looks like a bubble when the blood flow is obstructed.
If it's not in a vein, it could be a cyst (fluid filled sac) that is obscured until you press on one side of it and the other side of the cyst pushes out.
If it bothers you, see a doctor. If not, don't.
Reply:It sounds dangerous!..Get professional help.
Reply:if its air bubbles in the vein then that can be extremely dangerous. the only way to really get help for that without showing everyone a picture or without anyone being there is to show your doctor, expecially becuz it is only limited to one hand.
Reply:if it was air bubbles in your blood u would probly be dead already, but who knos maybe ur laying dead in ur computro chair already but yea, that doesnt sound good, go see a doctor

I started a new job and its killing my face and hands. what can i do?
i work at a pepsi distrbuter and my job is destroying the skin on my hands and face.
i do 2 things
1 i crush cans and bottles. to do this i am given gloves that are cotten on the back and rubber on the palm. by the end of the 2 hours my hands are soaked in soda and burning and itching like crazy. i also get soda on my face from dumping bags on used soda cans above my head, and in to the machine.
mart 2 of my job has me wasking trucks. to do this i put on my water resistant jacked and use this pink car washstuff and get to work.
normaly i dont mind if my hands and face get dry but i am starting to get welts and they itch and are getting nasty!
right now i am applying cetaphil cream every night when in i home and i apply it sevreal times.
quiting my job is out of the question, i took me 2 years to get a job.
i am male 21 and in need of help!
I started a new job and its killing my face and hands. what can i do?
Yeah, if your job has liberty on what you could wear, maybe try the following,
(1) Wear extra layer of gloves under your work gloves, preferably surgical gloves which fit perfectly but yet water-proof or soda proof :)
(2) Wear mask or face protection, you will still sweat since it is a non-air conditioner hard work job but at least when other alien material (washstuff) doesn't contact your skin which has sweat, it doesn't itch.
Reply:since u cant quit then ask ur employer to provide u with a better form of protection for ur hands or pay u more money to take care of urself in the hospital
Reply:The other answers are all excellent,,,but I'd like to add just one tiny note; try using a very mild soap, like Pears, along with all the other suggestions....with all the damage your skin's going thru, you don't need deodorant soaps, esp. on your face!!...please try Pears soap. Not that expensive, been made since 1789 and is mild enough to bathe babies in...and yes, it's better than all the Johnson baby stuff, too!! Using Pears soap will give your skin a break from all the rough stuff it's going thru!! I am a former makeup artist and have done lots of research into skincare...Pears is one of the best around, also Cetaphil cleanser, as you mentioned, but try to find the store brand of Cetaphil, right next to it on the shelves of most major drugstores, at less cost, and has the same ingredients!!!
Reply:i dont know what to tell you i would quit
Reply:My dads hands got very rough with his work. He would always slather his hands with Vaseline at night and put socks over his hands. It seemed to work like a charm. You could probably do the same for your face (minus the socks of course)!

I am looking for a name of a doll from the late 60's maybe early 70's?
she came with a shopping cart some shelves and little cardbord boxes and plastic bottles/cans as groceries and even a lil belt with register. one hand was palm flat up and had a magnet in and so did the groceries. On the other hand you could move the thumb against the fingers so she could grasp the groceries. she was hard plastic, the arms and legs could move but not bend. she was a regular size doll, not a barbie.

How old is abandoned kitten?
I found an abandoned kitten outside my house on Saturday afternoon. Unsure how old it is - I have been feeding it milk by a syringe as it doesnt know how to 'lap' from a saucer and isnt interested in kitten food. Eyes are open but its very small and fragile and shaky on its feet. I can hold it in the palm of one hand. Is it ok to feed it cows milk until I can get to the vets? It has been to the toilet ok without me having to rub its tummy. purrs when I stroke it but was very scared of me at first.... Any idea how old it could be? Any advice? I have been putting it to bed with a hot water bottle... it can run about but unstable on its feet. Thanks v much :)
How old is abandoned kitten?
i think the kitten is somewhere between three and five weeks old sounds about the same age as mine which are just over three weeks old. keep the lil one warm and you may need to pee and poop it by wipping the lil bottom with moist cotton wool. you also need to get either cimicat or lactol and a special nursing bottle. please don't give cows milk as kittens cannot digest the lactose in it. take the lil one to the vets asap to be checked. it is way too young to be lapping yet. it also sounds like it may have been the rnt of the litter because the runt in my litter i can hold in the palm of one habd but her brothers i need both hands to hold. you need to weigh the baby to make sure she is gaining weight she should gain about 10 - 30g per day and drinking upto15ml ten times a day if you give lactol and the same with cimicat. these may even need to go through the night. i feed my ll ones when they cry rather than waking them also make sure you pee/poop her before feeding and then after more luck in getting more in. if you need any more advice you can email me
Reply:Dont feed the kitten cows milk, it doesnt have all the nutrients it needs to get when its little, if it doesnt get the nutrients than serious problems can come. Go buy the formula at pets mart or somewhere, but iam sure the kitten is probably no more than 6 weeks old probably less but take to it the vet so it can get his shots and blood work!
Reply:Get a rich baby formula from your pet store to feed the kitten with. Cow's milk you buy at the store is highly processed and contains very little of what she needs nutritionally. Get her to the vet asap, and have her tested right away for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus (FeLV/FIV - these are fatal viruses that she can spread to unvaccinated cats). Your vet will be able to tell you approximately how old she is, and will give you the best course for her care.
Reply:It's hard to tell over the internet how old the kitten is.
Instead of cow's milk, there is replacement formula that you can buy and feed to the kitten. You can also see if he/she won't suck from a bottle. I've had a lot of luck feeding kittens this way. They sell these at pet stores also.
It can't hurt to take the kitten in to the vet's to make sure all is ok too.
Good luck to you both.
Reply:I would say between 6 and 8 weeks. The most important thing to do now is worm the kitten as worms kill many kittens at this age.Make sure you get kitten wormer. You can also get special milk at your vet as ordinary milk isnt much good.Very good of you to take it in.Hope everything goes well.
Reply:The kitten sounds to be pretty young. Don't continue to feed the kitten cows milk though because cats generally have an intolerance to cows milk. It's noting like what they would get from their mother. I suggest taking the kitty to a vet to see approximately how old it is and what would be proper to feed it.
Good luck.
Reply:well, i found my cat at a creek when he was just a day old, he had his eyes still closed and his umbilical still attached, I took him to the vet and was told to feed him eggs yolks and skim milk every 3 hrs...i kept him in a box with blankets and had to wake up to feed him. I also had to use a rag and wipe him, kinda gross but that's what their mommas do! but if hes kinda walking and has his eyes open, id guess around 4-5 weeks.
hope this helps!
Reply:i dont know how old he is, probaly less then 6months if it doesnt eat kitten food, and ont give her cows milk, she will get diarreah
Reply:Go to the pet shop and get some kitten formula - there are several available and mix it to the instructions.
Cow milk is too strong for kittens and can cause a very upset stomach which a kitten this young would have trouble dealing with.
Get it to the vet asap - he can tell you the best way to deal with this.
Reply:it sounds to me tht its about 2-3 weeksa old give it kitten milk from asda or tescos or ur local pet shop and buy a little bottel and bottel feed it wait till its bout 4 wks and thn try it on kitten food it should start to lap up the foor and milk see if tht helps can u email me to let me know how it gets on as i have 3 cats ma self thank you

Reply:No, you shouldn't feed it with cows milk, it sounds as if it's very young and probably needs it's Mother's milk, I would take it to the vets straight away and have it checked over and they should give you a rough age. You should also tell the vets that you have found it and your local Police station as it could have escaped from someones house and got lost and the owners may have reported it missing.
Reply:To get the best advice, ring the RSPCA's helpline. They will tell you everything you need to know, or try Cats Protection.
Reply:Not sure how old it is, would need to see it to give you an estimate on that but it sounds like your doing all the right thing - EXCEPT FOR THE COWS MILK!! You will need to go to the pet store or the vet and get the kitten KMR, or something comparative that is a milk replacer for cats. Lactose is found in cows milk, and cats and kittens are lactose intolerant, which means their bodies can not digest lactose. The kitten will get diahrea from drinking cows milk, and diahrea in a kitten will wreak havoc on its little body!! Please get the proper milk replacer right away, and have the little kitty evaluated by a vet as soon as you can. Best of luck with your little kitty!!

Reply:It sounds like it might be 4-5 weeks old just by the fact that it's eyes are open and it doesn't want to eat from bowl. Usually around 6 weeks they become interested in solid foods. It's good that you are keeping it warm with a water bottle this will help him/her digest food better. I wouldn't recomend that you give it cows milk, go to a pet store and buy a small jug of kitten milk replacer. It has more of the right kind of nutrience for the kitten. If you have other cats in the house keep them seperate from the kitten. You don't want to introduce some kind of illness like Feline Leukemia. Keep them seperated until you have had him/her checked by the vet. Good luck with your new bundle of joy!!
Reply:Don't feed it cows milk, cats are lactose intolerent. try watering down the kitten meat and syringe feed it that. Make sure you take it to the vets tomorrow.
Reply:It's probably about 4 weeks. DO NOT USE COW'S MILK. It will kill the kitten, not exageratting. You can get kitten milk replacement at a petstore as well as an appropriate bottle. Make sure you are feeding it every few hours (including getting up in the middle of the night). You also may still have to toilet it, sometimes by this age they are ok on their own, but otherwise, you need to rub its genitals with a cotton ball soon after feeding it to let it pee. Make sure the hot water bottle is covered by plenty of cloth before the kitten touches it, otherwise its skin is so sensitive you could burn it. You really need to get it to a vet ASAP for really good advice. Trust me, there are a lot of low cost vets out there that can help. If you can't afford that, try calling local no kill shelters, oftentimes they have people that can take the kitten and raise it to adoptable age. They may even be willing to raise it for you and give it back when it is old enough.
Reply:We have 16 cats and most of them are under 1 year old some feral some domestic we just love them. From what you are saying, this one sounds about 5-8 weeks maximum. Please don't give it cows milk as it is really bad for them. Get it to the vets a.s.a.p. for a check up. Kittens love cuddles so you are doing the right thing. If it spits or hisses don't worry they all do that. You are certainly doing the right thing keeping it warm. A cardboard box lined with a soft towel is ideal at this age preferably one where it can hide in a dark corner and feel safe. If you have a small cuddly toy put it in with him/her so she will feel safe and can snuggle into it.

Sounds like it is only 3 weeks old. Don't feed it cows milk as cats are lactose intollerent. Go to a pet store or supermarket and look in the pet section for milk for kittens(most say kittens and puppies but they are fine) that says lactose free. Take it to the vet ASAP so that they can give you some proper formula and give it a health check.

i'm pretty sure your baby is okay.
they're protected in the womb surrounded by a strong amniotic sac.
you wouldn't believe how much accidents i went through during my pregnancy but my baby was okay =D
Reply:I'm sure your baby is fine, but all things considerd, go to a doctor sometime soon so he can check out
1) to make sure that it didn't hurt the baby
2) to see how you're going along in the pregnancy and so you can scheduale monthly dates.

Why is the skin on the palms of my hands peeling?
me (49 male), got strep throat from15 year old niece, after she drank out my Gaterade bottle, on antibiotics for 10 days, her too, she noticed palm skin peeling after antibiotics gone, then a couple of days later my whole right hand thumb peeled, no pain, noticed left hand fingers peeling a day later, now right hand palm is starting to peel, it looks like when you spend all day in the pool, neither of us have been swimming... just strange how I would get her strep and now this peeling, we used different antibiotics... I then caught a bad cold and couldn't talk, now she as it... what's next????
Why is the skin on the palms of my hands peeling?
The peeling is a allergic reaction to the antibiotics that were given to you and ur niece even though they were different. I am sure you both were given a type of penicilin capsule such as amoxicilin. Anyway if u see that the problem gets worse or ur symptoms are getting worse with a cold that u just got I would see ur doctor again. Make sure you two don't share the same food and drink and PLEASE make sure you two wash ur hands frequently since this is the #1 way the germs are spread from one person to the other
Reply:Could be a lack of B vitamins. I used to have this problem really bad and solved it with a simple multi-vitamin. Also drink lots of water.
Reply:might not be anything to do with pills, things you touch can do this as well, wool, cement if you work with chemicals go to the Drs and ask if it was the pills, but usually is to do with something you have touched. Hand cream not perfumed would help or vasalean as a quick fix
Reply:it could be athlete's foot--yes! athletes foot on your hands... this is only likely if you have it on your feet first and touch your feet occasionally, perhaps when you are applying medicine for your feet.
If it gets worse you may want to see the doctor again...GOOD LUCK!!

Do i need to teach kittens to eat solids?
i have 4 little 4-5 week old kittens.
they are very very small. not much bigger than my palm. they are slightly bigger than new borns.
the eldest and biggest one is starting to eat solids almost every meal. the others refuse to even look what's in the bowl. they want their bottle.
do i need to "teach" them or will they start eating when they are ready?
thanks
Do i need to teach kittens to eat solids?
Try blending the food up into bits in the blender and then adding some of the formula to make a gruel.
The formula "smell" will help attract them to the food and the gruel will be easier to eat.
Once they are eating gruel just slowly decrease the amount of formula and how little you blend up the food.
Reply:I think they will eventually start on their own, but there is no harm in introducing them to it by offering them tastes of soft, gravy covered kitten food to start. But they are still babies, and its ok for them to still have milk.
Reply:Let them get hungry and offer them wet meat. Keep feeding them but let them get a little bigger before you put them on solids talone. After they get used to eating solids leave dry food out for them.
Reply:They start when they are ready. If they were taken away from their mom too early it will actually take *longer* for them to be ready. Feed them kitten milk replacement (formula). You can get it in a powdered form at Wal-Mart or Pet Smart.
Good luck!
Reply:you need to try to wean them. they might not be as developed as the biggest. their teeth may not be as strong. try wet foods, then try moving to dry. they may have difficulties eating dry because of pain in undeveloped teeth. they also don't usually wean until about 6 weeks, but if they have teeth, you can start weaning now. not all the kittens grow at the same rate. if you're still not sure, ask the vet, a breeder, or look online about it. also, "abby's" idea is a very good one, they'll smell the formula or milk (momma's replacement milk. i've seen it at the vet) and pay a bit more attention.
Reply:Hi there, I am assuming here that you are bottle feeding? I would not start feeding these little ones solids for another week yet, and if they are not much bigger than your palm I would think they would be younger than you think? I hand reared 4 kittens 3 years ago... I left them on vet milk out of a bottle and teat, and just left a saucer of mashed up kitten food for them in a saucer while I was feeding the others... they instinctively know when they are ready to eat.. just watch them when food is down though, cos they do end up in the middle of the plate lol and you'll have to give them a wash all over again... am assuming also that you are doing the stimulate the bladder trick like their mother would do? is easy to 'litter train them' when doing this...as they get older, start to stimulate their pee holes, and when a drop or two starts to come out, put them in the litter tray, they get the idea really quickly... although two of them decided to sleep in the litter tray and get out and pee on the carpet lol... good luck just let them develop at their pace, keep feeding the bigger one, let the others catch up at their own speed...
Reply:You're weaning them a bit early. I've bottle fed several kittens and most don't wean until 6 weeks. I had one that wouldn't come off the bottle until 8 weeks. Just give them time, esp since they're so small.

My pups are now 3 week old, their are eating from my palm soft food,?
their teeth are coming through very nicely.gone a bit fat thou, don't like water, but i still make sure their drink from a syringe,i feed them breakfast then dinner, other time still suckling from mum or myself bottle feed, very demanding.the thing is was it too early to wean them on solid.?.

Well you started a bit early. Give them another week or so and try the soft puppy food again, but let them still nurse from mom. They really don't need the water they will get all they need from mom. If you dam is a good mom she will feed them all. Just make sure she is getting enough to eat and especially drink. She will have enough milk to feed her demanding young.
When they are almost 4 or 5 weeks old I usually started giving them puppy food softened with water 2 times a day. I also found if you get a bottle with the kind the use for rabbits and hang it where the pups can readily get at it this is the easiest way to introduce water to the pups. Putting water in a dish or even a bowl can lead to disaster for a pup. It can accidental fall in to the water and drown. This has happened!
I allowed my pups to nurse from mom until they were just about ready to go their new homes. My mom's didn;t mind and the pups were very healthy and happy.
Hope this helps.

Reply:I have new puppies also we had to start them on food at 3 weeks also because the mother is hardly feeding them at all because her belly is getting so messed up its all red and has scrapes all over it from feeding them. The best thing to do is buy puppy formula and soak the food to make puppy mush make sure its warm, just watch them a few days to make sure their still going to the bathroom If the mother doesn`t lick their tummy's then take a warm cloth and rub them it helps them go. Books on raising puppies that have no mother will tell you to do this.
Reply:Most vets will recommend not weaning a pup til its at least 6-8 weeks old.
DO NOT FEED A PUP OUT OF YOUR HAND OR WITH A SYRINGE! THEY WILL BECOME DEPENDENT ON YOU TO EAT AND WILL NOT SURVIVE ON THEIR OWN.
(I have had multiple dogs and the only case in which it is ok to hand feed/syringe feed is when they are rejected by the mom or when they have something like parvo.)
The best thing to do is watch how much they are eating. If they are still suckling from their mom and are getting too fat eating both from her and you, only let them suckle. The mother should produce enough milk to feed them for 8-10 weeks.
It is too early to wean to solids so i would suggest stop hand feeding them and let their mother feed them since you say they are still suckling. As long as they are getting adequate amounts of milk from the mother THEY WONT STARVE OR DEHYDRATE.
Leave them to suckling until at least 6 weeks.
If you are unable to take care of mother and pups properly you should think of taking them all (mother included) to a local animal shelter or resuce group who can take care of them properly. If you can take care of them wait til they are about 6 weeks and start weaning them.
best of luck.
Added on 03/11: I know from personal experience that hand feeding a dog dry food will make them dependent on you. They learn that you are going to feed it to them and when you just stop and put it in a bowl they are VERY CONFUSED. My dog nearly died because she was hand feed as a pup(she was rejected by her mom) and wouldn't eat from a bowl when we tried to get her too. If you do feel like hand feeding them dry food it will be a hard long road to get them to eat out of a bowl later on.
Also, DO NOT put a water dish down for pups that small. They can drown. Try using a water bottle like you would use for a gerbile or guniea pig. :)
Reply:Their digestive systems are not set up for solid foods yet. You should wait a couple more weeks before introducing solid foods, and then it should be puppy food.
Reply:Way too early.
If they are large pups, start weaning at 5-6 weeks, and have them fully weaned by 8-10 weeks. Later is always better than early when it comes to weaning off mom.
If they are small breed pups, start weaning at 6-7 weeks and have them weaned by 10-12 weeks.
Reply:Yes you can go ahead and start introducing them to solid foods. Basically once they get their teeth in, they are ready to eat food. It's good to still let mom feed them if she will, let her feed them first and then offer them dogfood. That way they get the benefit of her milk, and still have something more if they are still hungry. Waiting 6-8 weeks to start offering food is ridiculous, they most definately can eat food and digest it properly at this point. They will likely start to drink your water you are offering them, once they start to eat the food, they will need more moisture and will naturally check out the water. If you think they aren't getting enough moisture, sprinkle a little big of powdered milk into the water dish and swish it around, it will peak their interest.
The person who told you not to feed from your hand or from a syringe is wrong, they will NOT become dependant on you to feed them that way at all..
My pups are now 3 week old, their are eating from my palm soft food,?

What can you use to get self-tanner off your hands?
Help!! I bought a new bottle of tanning lotion at my local tanning salon and did not realize that it contained an instant bronzer to show immediate results...well now I have those results on my palms and between my fingers!! Is there anything that will remove these stains?
What can you use to get self-tanner off your hands?
soak your hands in soapy warm water for a few minutes and then use a pumice stone (gently) to exfoliate your hands. that should take the stain right off.
Reply:Nope only time to let it wear off. Sorry!
Reply:biolocical washing powder
Reply:how about trying to soak your hands in come oxiclean, or alchohol, I do not know if it will work, just giving it a thought
Reply:I read in a magazine to try lemon jucie, or something that is acidic will get it off. I have never tried it though.
Reply:Try using lacquer thinner...

How long does it take for sunless tanners to work?
i bought loreal sublime bronze any angle tanning spray, and applied it 2 hours ago.the bottle said it takes one hour, but my skin looked the same for the most part.so i applied it again one hour ago and still looks the same.well my palms are a little darker but other than that im seeing no effects.how long does it normally take for it to start working?
How long does it take for sunless tanners to work?
The loreal spray takes about a day to fully develop
Reply:Usually the color progresses over time but if it has a bronzer in it then you should see some color right away. May be that your skin doesn't take. Try a lotion instead. Good luck.
Reply:It will be looking a lot darker in the morning.

What was that flaming shot i did?
i was at a bar in Detroit, and i did a bunch of these flaming shots. i believe it was a high-proof (151) orange liqueur of some sort. you light the shot, then slam your hand down on top of it. the fire creates suction by burning up all the oxygen, and the shot glass sticks to your hand. you shake it up whilst it is still stuck on your palm, then separate your hand from the glass and shoot it. it was sweet, and i want to find a bottle....problem was, we did so many, i can't remember what the stuff was called. damnit! anyone ever heard of such a thing?
What was that flaming shot i did?
it is called a vapor lock
usually done with goldshlagger or 151
Reply:no sonofa- it's not a vapor lock. well it is, but not with 151 or goldschlagger! Report It

Does Cusi Palm Oil Really Grow Hair?
Want to find out as much about "Cusi" (Bolivian) "Babassu"(Brazilian) palm tree oil. And to find out if it actually grows hair. I've been told that it has for several of my friends but I'd like to find out more.
I've received a bottle of this oil and the label says:
Aceite De Cusi 100 % Puro
Para curar el pasmo
Arrebato
Hace salir
Crecer y negrear el cabello
Evita la caida y la picada y elimina la caspa
From the translations I've received I believe it says something like:
Grows hair
Make hair more manageable
Makes hair return to its original color
Any insight into this claim of growing hair would be really appreciated....especially from someone in the Bolivian area that has seen the results of this "tree of life" oil.
Does Cusi Palm Oil Really Grow Hair?
Absolutely not. It's just another product with big claims.
If you want to grow your hair, just understand that it will not grow more than 1/4 to 1/2 inch per month.
You need to use quality, salon shampoos, conditioners and styling products.
You need to have your ends trimmed at least 1 time every 6 weeks.
In addition, it's your diet that really helps with healthy skin, hair %26amp; nails. If you eat right, and take the right vitamins, your hair will grow at the normal average rate.
Good nutrition is vital to healthy hair growth, just as it's essential to overall good health. Although your body needs a variety of vitamins and minerals to maintain proper body functions, there are several that are specific to hair growth and health. When starting a new vitamin regime, it usually takes from 2 to 3 months to see results in your hair's condition. That means that patience and consistency is very important. It's also important to check with your doctor before starting a vitamin program, especially if you have health concerns.

How do you get stains from self tanner off of your hands?
I have been using the Dove Energy Glow Lotion. I really like it. It does not give you the orange look most sunless tanners do. It is very subtle. It says on the bottle to wash your hands immediately after applying and I have been doing that, but it has still stained the palms of my hands a little bit. Does anyone have any tips on getting this off or any tips on applying this lotion. Or any other lotions that work well. All help is appreciated! : - ) Thanks!
How do you get stains from self tanner off of your hands?
Exfoliate your hands with a sugar scrub.
It will come off eventually.
And you have a very lotion. I've used it myself. =]
Aveeno has a really good one too.
Reply:is all else fails...I'd try baking soda or vinegar.
Reply:Hi..to get stains off..St. Tropez makes a wipe that removes self-tanner, they work fairly well. When I get done applying, I wash hands thoroughly and pay particular attention to between fingers and knuckles, also if you have a nail brush, scrub over nails to remove any tanner that may be around cuticles. Happy Faux Tanning. : )
Reply:Squeeze some lemon juice and rub it into your hands, that should help to get it off a bit. Also, try using a body scrub and scrub your hands with it (added bonus, hands will get really nice %26amp; smooth!) Also, when applying this stuff, always wash your hands really well right after you're done. Make sure to use lots of soap and wash between your fingers, that's where it usually all settles.
Reply:You can buy self tan removers. I use St. Tropez self tan remover. Just wash your hands with it when you are done.
I think anything with scrubber beads in it works really...
Reply:yeah mine does that too..you really just have to make sure you really wash your hands thoroughly after applying it...to get rid of it now i would suggest repeatedly washing your hands...prehaps with a scrubbing brush. it comes off quite easily.
Reply:Fresh lemon over your hands. I cut a lemon in half and rub it all over my inner palms when I get hair dye of self-tanner stains.
I like to use the non-latex gloves from the drugstore to apply it all over except the back of my hands. When I am ready for the back of my hands I keep one glove on and take the other off and do that hand. Then when it is dry put the glove back on the newly lotioned back of my hand to apply to the other. Works pretty good.
Reply:An exfoliatoing scrub will do the trick. Anything with that grit for scrubbing will work. I would say you can buy a self-tanning stain remover for the skin but you'd really have to go out of your way to buy that. Just buy an exfoliating scrub. St. Ive's sells alot of them.
Reply:I use banna boat self tanner. It works great. It also says to wash hands right after applying. It hasn't stained my hands. I usually wash them after each time i apply to a new area. Like one leg then i wash, then do the next leg, then i wash, do arms then i wash, do back then i wash so on.
w/ this you do have to make sure you use sparingly around you ankls, knees, and elbows.
It doesn't leave streaks and it looks so natural i got allot of compliments.

Why some people believe that pork oil is use in making moon cake?
i was wondering who told them that. And they also believe that this A race like to cook using pork oil. Before the 80s people do cook with pork oil given that many people at that time are poor and can't afford in buying peanut, corn, and palm oil because it is expensive. What they do is they fried the pork fat to get the oil and store it inside a bottle.
Why some people believe that pork oil is use in making moon cake?
this for non muslim.. they can make what ever they want to make for own taste .

I'm not sure what moon cake is. Is it the same thing as moon pie? Lard - which is rendered pork fat - will give you a much better moon pie than vegetable shortening, and unlike vegetable shortening, it doesn't have an trans fats to kill you.
Chill, fella. Nothing wrong with pork oil.
Reply:Pork oil enhances the flavor of the mooncake and other food. Even till today, I was told that the "Hokkien Mee" or fried black noodle must be fried with pork oil so as to get the flavorful taste. Top that with crispy fried pork lard and the noodle is great. It's not the same if you fried it with palm oil or corn oil.
BTW, next time just mentioned the Non-Muslim or Chinese instead of saying "A race". Everyone knows that you are referring to them!!!

Reply:Pork Oil is an interesting way to call it. In making moon cake, lard is used. Since lard...is "The white solid or semisolid rendered fat of a hog," and fats, lipids, and oils, are often used interchangeably, I can see why the person called it pork oil.
To make those flaky layers in pastries (and in this case moon cake), solid fats are normally used. In places where there were historically milk producing animals commonly and can afford butter/milkfats, they use butter/milkfats. In poorer countries/cultures, they use lard (more pigs than cows). Since all fats have their own unique flavoring, it will be difficult to get to change mooncakes from lard to butter.
If you want to say Asian, then just say Asian. We don't think that you're any more cooler or less racist by saying "A." That is besides the fact that Asia is a continent and not a single country or culture.
As for those ignorant, narrow-minded, or racist people you know, just let them think what they think. If you ever feel like a hillbilly next to them, just remind yourself that "Asians" invented gunpowder and paper. Paper is good. I'm not so sure about gunpowder...
There's nothing wrong with using pork oils. Differences in cultures should be embraced. I'm pretty sure that all cultures still use pork fats in one way or another (other than the cultures who don't use pork at all). Yes, even European cultures used/use pork fats. Though generally the modern/richer culture tends to not use pork fat because it is less healthy, harder to get access to, and messier.
Animals fats solidify at higher temps than vegetable fats. Seeing the white solidified spots on your food tends to spoil the appetite.

I've many Muslims friends %26amp; those health conscious associates that "shy %26amp; fear" chinese food %26amp; moon cakes because they thought it contains lard/pork oil.
Based on analysis in Malaysia.
Most people have gone modern %26amp; more health conscious %26amp; also to market their products they've used swap %26amp; used vege. oil instead. Especially since Malaysia mass produced vege. oil like palm oil %26amp; corn oil.
There are still a few states like Penang, Perak %26amp; Sabah that prefers to stick to traditional methods of using pork oil in their cookies, biscuits %26amp; etc. But usually they'll state on the label "Tak halal".
For those that regularly pass by Perak (which is a state famous for their bakeries %26amp; food) they produce 2 version. 1 halal (non animal oil used) %26amp; another non-halal which is the traditional types.
But most states %26amp; bakeries like Baker's Cottage, King's Confectionaries, BreadHistory %26amp; etc. they of course don't use pork oil for marketing purposes besides purposesly hiring Muslim helpers to create a "safe" environment that produce quality food that sticks to Halal brands. (Except stated otherwise).
As for cooking with lard, most Malaysians no longer do that.
Except previous(x2,x3,x4) generations due to the availability %26amp; cost of oil back thn.
If you're afraid if people sprinkle fried pork skin/lard on the cooking, you can always say/ask "no BABI arrr" that's usually for Hokkein Mee %26amp; certain desserts.
As for mooncakes, to be safe. You can always ask for "vegetarian mooncakes".

Why is it that certain dreams leave us with certain feelings when we wake up?
I dreamed of a minature baby doll no bigger than the palm of my hand. Her eyes never opened and neither did her mouth but yet she still cried and I even gave her her baby bottle. In my dream she got stepped on and broke. I was so upset in my dream. Now I want to go out and find a minature doll like the one in my dream because it left me with this feeling of wanting to take care of that doll.
Why is it that certain dreams leave us with certain feelings when we wake up?
Dreams that are so real flip me out. I have lucid dreams, or deep R.E.M sleep it's called. It's were you put stuff off in life and you sleep is when it has to catch up to you. those can really get you worked up. you wake up all emotional a really feeling what just happen was real. They say it's tied to us denying our problems and our minds trying to work it out in our sleep. Still gives me the creeps though.
Reply:its kind of draining.
Reply:Did you ever have a miscarriage and its still hunting you, and thats why you want to take care of the poor defenceless doll. well i would say deal with it by talking to someone.

[This is a poll so could all bottle-feeding moms answer] Which formula do you use?
Baby Formula Differences
There aren't really any convincing studies that prove that one formula is better than another, so you kind of have to go by what the formula companies say about their 'recipes' and see what works for you.
Among the major brands of formula:
Enfamil Lipil is one of the latest formulas from Mead Johnson, which 'has been dedicated to patterning infant formula after the nutritional composition of breast milk.' It provides a 'whey-to-casein ratio of 60:40. Just like breast milk' and they claim that 'no other formula is closer to breast milk than Enfamil LIPIL.'
Nestle Good Start Supreme contains 100% whey, partially hydrolyzed 'comfort proteins' that are supposed to be easier to digest. It is also supposed to have a faster gastric emptying time, which may help children with reflux, and promote soft stools, which may help infants who are constipated. Instead of creating a formula that is like breastmilk in composition, they seem to be trying to make a formula that behaves like breastmilk.
Similac Advance is made without palm olein oil, which they claim helps their formula promote increased calcium absorption and greater bone mineralization. Similac Advance also contains 'special breast milk nutrients called nucleotides' that are supposed 'to help support the development of a baby's immune system,' however, even their website says that 'whether this development provides immune protection like breast milk has not been shown.' And all formulas contain nucleotides.
Store Brand Formula, like from Albertsons (Baby Basics), Target (Healthy Baby), and Wal-mart (Parent's Choice), are made by Wyeth Nutrition and are based on the old SMA formula. They provide a 'nutritionally complete, sensibly priced formula option' for parents.
[This is a poll so could all bottle-feeding moms answer] Which formula do you use?
We use similac advance.
Reply:I use both Similac Advance and Enfamil Lipil-- becuase I have loads of $5 and $7 formula checks for each kind.
Reply:Nestle Good Start. Similac and Enfamil gave my son horrible gas.
Reply:I tried all you named, aside from any store brands and hands down the best tolerated by my daughter was Nestle Good Start Supreme milk based with DHA.
Reply:They gave my daughter Enfamil Prosobee (soy) in the NICU then I started her on Similac Isomil Advance (soy) I asked the doctor and a couple nurses and they said they are equivalent. I saw no difference when we switched her. The price had to do with us switching.
Reply:When it was discovered that I was unable to nurse, we were given samples of Enfamil from our pediatrician. Because we had received a number of jars of Similac as gifts, we tried them first. For us, Similac just did not work well. We found that our daughter would have difficulty digesting, constantly resulting in regurgitation. Therefore, we switched to Enfamil with Lipil. Overall, that worked very well. On one visit, one of the pediatricians advised us to check out some store brands for cost comparison. We tried Parent's Choice (Wal-Mart) and Kirkland (Costco). The nutrients and ingredients were all very comparable. It is my opinion that Parent's Choice more closely resembled Similac's formula while Kirkland's mirrored Enfamil. Kirkland's was also significantly less expensive. We bought two regular sized jars for $19. We used the Kirkland brand until the end. Overall, we were very happy and hope to have the same success with our next child.
Reply:We have used:
Enfamil Lipil
Target brand with lipil
Simlac Neosure (doctor's request)
Enfamil 9-24 mo formula.
I prefer the Enfamil because it has the best coupons. I know not real scientific, but hey you need to save as much as you can when you have to formula feed!
Reply:Similac Advance...I found that my son was having some difficult with gas when I was giving him Enfamil Lipil. Less spit ups and he stool seemed to be softer.
Reply:I used Enfamil with Lipil..... I would skip the "store brands"
Reply:I use ENFAMIL GENTLEASE. The regular Enfamil Lipil gave my baby a lot of gas so after 1 week we switched.Sign up on their website and you can get coupons in the mail from them, also you can check your pediatrician's office, sometimes they have coupons too.
Reply:enfamil lipil
Reply:I use the Goodstart as a supplement to brest. I tried the Enfamil and my baby had bad gas with it. I straight bottlefed my older daughter and she could only use the Goodstart (same problem). It digest easier than the others.
Reply:My children have all had allergies to formula. They were on Similac Alimentum and Enfamil Pregestimil.
Reply:i have tried many, but i find enfamil disolves the best.
Reply:Good Start
Reply:similac advance
Reply:For right now my 4 day old is on Enfamil Lipil. It seems to be working great for her. But with my 2 older ones, I always switched to Parent's Choice after the first 6 months or so...and most likely I will do the same with my new baby.
Reply:good start soy , my son is lactose intolerant
Reply:I use Enfamil Lipil Gentlease. The regular Lipil was a little hard on my baby's tummy.
Reply:Similac Allimentum
Reply:My favorite was either Parent's Choice or the Meijer brand. Both had the same ingredients as Enfamil and were almost half the price. My daughter did just fine on them and never had a problem with gas or throwing up.
Reply:Defiently enfamil~~~It is better digested
Reply:Enfamil is most preferred by doctors and used by hospitals. I had to use Enfamil nutramigen which is lighter on a baby's stomach. It is more expensive, but it works well.
Reply:I did breast feed for the first 3 months so when I switched to formula I used Similac's soy formula. It was very gentle on my daughters stomach.
Reply:Enfamil Sensitive
Reply:we started out feeding our son (now 10 mos old) Enfamil Lipil. It worked well for him, but after the first month because of the outrageous prices we decided to try storebrand and see if he would do alright with it. So we gradually started using storebrand (Kirkland brand from Costco) and we saw no change at all, he has been using storebrand now for 9 months and has done great for him, plus our pediatrician told us it is just as healthy for him! I would highly recommend it..what a money saver!
Reply:goodstart supreme with iron
Reply:Enfamil Lipil
Reply:Started on Similac Advance and had to switch to Similac Alimentum after 3 weeks due to protein sensitivity
Reply:I liked Enfamil lipil w/ iron powder--it looked "whiter" like milk (similac is more yellow) and didn't smell as bad when burped up. Whichever you choose, sign up with the manufacturer's website and they'll send you lots and lots of coupons, which always help.
Reply:I use ONLY Carnation Instant Breakfast with a little Captain Morgan's mixed in....babies love it...
