Contact help?
I use no-rub contact solution, but I still prefer to rub them, just to make sure I get them as clean as they possibly can be.

You need to put a couple drops of solution in your palm, then rub the lens (clean one lens at a time) for about 10 seconds, from the inside toward the outside, all the way to the edges. Then flip the lens onto the other side, and repeat those steps. Then do the same with the other contact lens. After that, rinse each side of the lens with solution for 5 seconds, then fill up your contact case, and drop each lens in it, and close the top.

You don't have to rub very hard; try to be gentle. I tore a couple myself when I first started wearing contacts, just from rubbing too hard. A gentle rub is plenty...

If your eyes sting a little when you put your contacts in, the solution could be bothering you. Some people do have sensitive eyes, and some solutions will bother them. If you think that might be the case, buy some saline solution that can be found with all the other contact supplies in stores. Just use it to rinse your contacts right before you put them in to wear. The saline solution is a lot more gentle on the eyes.
Reply:Your bottle of contact solution should have instructions to follow. Generally, put your contact in the palm of your hand and pour a few drops of solution on it. Rub very gently for a few seconds, flip the contact and repeat. Then you can put it back in. Your contact may hurt when you put it in because it is inside out. Before you put in your contact, put it on the tip of your finger and look at the edges. It should look like a little bowl. If the edges flair out, your contact is inside out and you need to flip it back before you put it in.

Clean your contacts every day and make sure to wash your hands thoroughly before cleaning the contacts. Also, do NOT wear your contacts longer than you are supposed to. If you have two week disposables- throw them out after two weeks. doing other wise can irritate the eyes and lead to infections.
Reply:most of the contact solutions out there are "no rub" so there is no need to rub it, what you can do is put your contacts in your palm with some solution and rub it. my eye hurts sometimes when i put my contacts in too, (that because there's a little bit of dust on the contact) you can also put some some solution in your contact before putting them on. make sure you change your lens case every 3 months.

if you want your contacts extra clean you can try using "clear care" its a eye contact solution, you have to follow the instructions carefully if you wanna try it.. good luck
